Also, Niraj Dev Joshi, The President of Nepalese Association of Optometrists elected as a Executive Board Member of Asia Pacific Council of Optometry (APCO).

Nepalese Association of Optometrist organized its 15th Annual General Meeting on 30th April 2023 on Bougainvillae Resort, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. Prof. Dr. Shree Krishna Giri  Vice Chariman of Medical Education Commission  as Chief Guest. Apart from formal session, there was two guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Sagun Narayan Joshi on “How to be successful in your optometry practice” and by Dr. Kishor Raj Pradhan on “Smart Communication at your eye clinic”.

Nepalese Association of Optometrist celebrated on 24th March 2023

Nepalese Association of Optometrist celebrated on 24th March 2023. There was a walkathon program from Basantapur to Nepal Eye Hospital. There was representatives from different organizations like B.P. Koirala Lions Centre for Ophthalmic Studies, Nepal Eye Hospital, etc. Also, different student societies from Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) participated in the program.

With the aim of refreshment among  members of Nepalese Association of Optometrist Picnic Program was organized at Vintuna resort (a stop ahead of Chandragiri Cable car bus stop), Thankot on March 3 2023. More than 50 participants participated in the program which was fun and refreshing to all.

. To standardize the practice among practicing optometrists from all over Nepal, Nepalese Association of Optometrist published a standard for salary and practicing fees on February 27, 2023. This was eye opening to all.
